Uzor Arukwe, born August 6, 1983, is a talented Nigerian actor famously recognized for his role as Inspector Sam in the 2017 movie, Sergent Tutu. In 2014, Arukwe made his Nollywood debut in the film Unspoken Truth, but he became well-known for his work in Sergent Tutu. He gained further notoriety for his work as a private eye in the 2019 film Code Wilo.
Early Life and Education
Uzor Arukwe was born into a large family of ten people headed by Mr. and Mrs. Arukwe who are his parents.
Despite the fact that his parents are from the South Eastern Nigerian region of Abia State, Uzor was born in Lagos.
Being a “Lagos Boy,” Uzor Arukwe attended primary school there. He made the trip to Port-Harcourt to enroll in the secondary program at the Nigerian Navy School, Port Harcourt.
After starting his tertiary study in Port-Harcourt, Uzor later made his way back to his home state.
At the Abia State University, the actor continued his education and received a bachelor’s degree in economics.
After completing his undergraduate studies, Uzor traveled to Calabar to pursue a master’s degree.
Uzor Arukwe made his Nollywood debut in the 2014 movie Unspoken Truth, but Sergent Tutu is where he really rose to fame.
His performance as a private eye in the 2019 movie Code Wilo helped him become even more well-known.
He received two nominations for the 2020 African Magic Viewers’ Choice Award for “Best Actor in Comedy or Movie” for his roles in the movies Size 12 and Smash.
